If you’ve ever found yourself staring at a “good looking” OA lead and still felt that knot in your stomach, this is for you.

Here’s an 8-point checklist you can run every OA lead through to ensure that it’s a good buy:

Step 1: Check sales velocity (BSR & recent units)

  • BSR under 100k, ideally top 1.5% of its product category.
  • At least 50 units sold in the last 30 days.

This tells you the product is actually moving, so it won’t trap your capital and you get your money back + profit fast.

Step 2: Confirm profit and ROI with all costs

  • Minimum $4 profit and 40% ROI.
  • Base your numbers on the most recent sell price.
  • Include: Amazon fees, prep, inbound shipping, sales tax.
  • If the return rate is high, raise your minimum profit to create a buffer.

If you’re not including every cost, your profit and ROI projections will be most definitely off.

Step 3: 90‑day stability on price and competition

  • Price over the last 90 days should be stable or rising.
  • Competitor count should be steady, not spiking.
  • Be extra wary if offer count is climbing fast; that’s usually a sign that the listing is about to tank.

You’re not just buying today’s price; you’re buying the next 90 days of price and competition behavior.

Step 4: Safe buy box rotation

  • Buy box should rotate evenly among sellers.
  • Avoid if Amazon is on the listing, especially if they dominate the box.

If the buy box isn’t shared, you’re not really in the game.

Step 5: Stack extra profit where you can

Look for ways to add margin:

  • Discounted gift cards
  • Cashback & coupon extensions
  • Stackable promo codes or sitewide discounts
  • Free shipping or bulk discounts

Always check out through an account so you qualify for maximum rewards.

Step 6: Listing accuracy and brand match

  • Brand on Amazon matches the retailer’s brand.
  • Title, description, and images all align with the product you’re buying.
  • Avoid weird, generic “no‑name” brands that scream trouble.

This protects you from mismatches, returns, and nasty customer messages. Keep your account health safe.

Step 7: IP risk and seller count pattern

  • You generally want 3–4+ other sellers on the listing.
  • Avoid sudden cliff drops in competition; that can signal IP complaints.
  • If the brand itself is a seller on the listing, walk away. That’s a high account health risk.

Account health is harder to rebuild than any one profitable flip.

Step 8: Vet the retailer

  • Confirmed physical address on Google Maps with real Street View.
  • Active, legit website with consistent business info.
  • Active social profiles showing ongoing operations.
  • Positive signals on sites like Trustpilot, Sitejabber, ResellerRatings, ShopperApproved, Yelp.

If the retailer is sketchy, the rest of the math doesn’t matter.

Or… we just do all 8 steps for you

Most OA sellers know they should be running checks like these. However, almost none of them do it on every single lead, every single day. That gap between “I know this” and “I actually did this” is where most of the profit leaks out.

With our lead lists, every lead you get has already gone through this 8‑point checklist:

  • We verify sales velocity and profitability using current market data.
  • We check 90‑day price and competition trends and buy box behavior.
  • We look for extra margin where it’s realistically available.
  • We screen for IP risk, retailer legitimacy, and listing accuracy to protect your account.

What you actually get from us

Instead of spending hours buried in Keepa charts, retailer tabs, and review sites, you plug into one of our capped, done‑for‑you lists and work a vetted pipeline of deals.

Premium 44 (Mars 44 & Saturn 44)

For newer and intermediate sellers. You get 10+ mostly ungated, lightly gated, and auto‑ungate OA leads every weekday. We run eligibility‑first vetting so you’re not wasting time on deals you can’t even buy. It’s the fastest path to inventory for sellers still fighting through ungating. Capped at 44 sellers per list.

Elite 22 (Jupiter 22, Neptune 22, Pluto 22)

For experienced sellers with seasoned accounts. You get 10+ higher‑barrier, lower‑competition, higher‑profit OA leads every weekday. These are the kinds of products most newer sellers can’t touch, which keeps competition down and margins healthier. Capped at 22 sellers per list.

Uranus 22 (Hazmat‑only list)

For sellers enrolled in Amazon’s Dangerous Goods program. You get 5+ hazmat, high‑profit, low‑competition OA leads every weekday. We do the heavy lifting on compliance and sourcing so you can exploit a niche most sellers avoid. Capped at 22 sellers.

When you plug into the right list for your account, sourcing stops being a full‑time job and becomes a focused block on your calendar. Our lead lists cut your sourcing time by at least 70%, which means your capital turns over faster, your money works harder for you, and you get your time back to work on the parts of the business only you can do. Pick the list that fits your level and let today’s drop be the easiest inventory you add this week.
